14 Mar 2023 Anderson County Pre-Season Basketball Tournament
The 2nd Annual Anderson County Pre-Season Basketball Tournament was held at Clinton High School, October 23 through 28. The tournament included teams from each of Anderson County’s elementary schools and middle schools.
Proceeds from the tournament went to the Education Foundation’s Holtzclaw STEM Fund. Educators form Clinton City and Anderson County Schools may apply for the STEM Grants to enhance STEM programming in their classroom or school. The STEM Fund was established by retired Anderson County Schools Science teachers, Fred & Theresa Holtzclaw, in order to further the expansion of STEM Education in our community. The Holtzclaw Fund also provides funding for middle school student-athletes with special needs that are a barrier to participation in athletics.
