31 Jan Health & Wellness Grants Awarded
When the calendar rolls over to a new year, it’s time for the Education Foundation to award a new round of Health & Wellness Grants to educators in Clinton City & Anderson County Schools. We are proud to recognize 15 grant winners in 2022 with a total amount awarded of $12,376.00. Nine educators in Anderson County Schools were awarded grants that totaled $8,058.00, while six Clinton City Schools educators received grants adding up to $4,318.00!
The Health & Wellness Grants program is funded through contributions from the annual Clinton 5K. The record year for race proceeds allowed the Education Foundation to fund grants that will provide a variety of support for health, nutrition, mental health and other projects that will improve the overall health of students.
The 2022 Clinton 5K is already on our events calendar. Mark your calendar for the morning of Saturday, October 22, 2022, for the next Clinton 5K. The race is held annually in downtown Clinton and includes a one-mile fun run in addition to the 5K event.

The Education Foundation for Clinton City & Anderson County Schools is proud to be a partner with our two school districts in providing a quality education for young people blessed to attend school in this community. The work of the Education Foundation revolves around providing Instructional Support Grants, Health & Wellness Grants, support for special needs for students included in Early Post-Secondary Opportunities, providing free resources for educators through the Teacher Supply Depot, and scholarship programs targeting specific graduates.
